First Time Scheduling? Primarily interested in classes?
Even if you are not dealing with an injury and are primarily wanting to join classes an evaluation is strongly encouraged for any new client, especially if you are unfamiliar with Postural Restoration® or Pilates movements in order to have a good class experience and follow along with the rest of the class. My classes are not a typical Pilates class and have added concepts/fundamental movements that relate to gait mechanics unusual to the typical workout class. If you are comfortable not being familiar with the movement lingo and not being perfect at every movement, and you are not confident that you can manage new unfamiliar movements well without injury you may qualify as an exception to the rule.
CLASS SCHEDULE:
Classes: if you have never had a session with Dr. Sarah Petrich, consider scheduling an evaluation or private session to familiarize yourself with the equipment, movement lingo, and technique so you can have the best and safest Pilates experience.

TYPES OF REFORMER CLASSES
All Dr. Sarah's Reformer Classes integrate Postural Restoration® and Re-Balance Pilates Principles which help rebalance asymmetrical breath, posture and movement patterns. RESTORATIVE: A RESTORATIVE Pilates class is slow to moderately paced and offers ample modifications making it particularly suitable for individuals recovering from injuries or with specific areas of vulnerability. REBALANCING: A REBALANCING Pilates Reformer class is moderate to fast-paced for individuals who require minimal modifications. Participants should be more confident in being able to push themselves without feeling vulnerable to injury - or be able to modify themselves easily during class with minimal guidance from the instructor. |
